The Westin Warsaw 5* – hotel review

The Westin Warsaw Hotel is located in the city center just a few minutes walk from the Golden Terraces and Central Station. It features 361 rooms, 11 meeting rooms, bar and restaurant Fusion, where we had a pleasure to eat our Sunday brunch.

Recently, Hotel Westin started campaign lasting 12 months designed to improve its guests’ well-being. It introduced new relaxation programs like meditation in partnership with Headspace or Westin weekend with late check-out on Sundays. Additionally, breakfast is being served longer, so weekend guests can enjoy healthy breakfast SuperFood in no rush.

Following description will mention Executive Lounge, however in near future is expected its thorough renovation.

Room

Our corner room was located on the 19th floor (called Executive). It had a very comfortable Heavenly Bed®

In addition, there was a desk fitted with telefax and office supplies. It provided very nice working space.

The room featured satellite TV with channels in different languages as well as coffee or tea making facility . Also, free mineral water was available.

Also, we had an access to wired and wireless internet connection.

Morning papers delivered to rooms were available on request.

Bathroom

In the bathroom we found bath and separate shower, also there was a lot of towels and the personal care cosmetics.

Hotel equipped bathroom with mineral water as well.

Breakfast

Breakfast for Executive Floor guests is available in the Executive Club on the 19th floor or on the ground floor in the restaurant Fusion.

First, we tried Executive Club’s breakfast. There’s a choice of hot and cold dishes, desserts, hot and cold drinks along with meat, fish, fruits and yogurts.

Fusion Restaurant serves slightly different choice of meals. That place is much busier, but the choice is wider. It was hard to decide what to try, so we tried a bit of everything. Please see below pictures:

You can’t forget to try Westin’s distinctive taste of Jing tea, sourced specifically for hotel’s needs. We recommend jasmine flavour.

Executive Lounge

As we mentioned before Executive Lounge is located on 19th floor (right now, there's new Executive Lounge – review will be available soon).

During Aperitif Hours (between 6pm and 8pm) free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are being served there.

Additionally, there are hot and cold snacks and delicious Jing tea.

SPA & Wellness

Sauna and very well equipped The Westin Workout® gym are available for all hotel’s guests at no additional cost.

Personal Trainers are available in the gym, they provide guidance as well as individual lessons at additional charge.

Professional massage is also available, upon request can be provided in the guest’s room (In-room Spa service).

Summary

Westin is one of the best hotels in Warsaw. It is modern, 20-storey building with outstanding architecture. Who hasn’t noticed lights of the glass elevator beautifully illuminating in the night?

We strongly recommend Westin Hotel for tourists and business customers. First of all, worth visiting is Fusion Restaurant, particularly during the Sunday brunch, which we described in our blog (soon will be available in English). Hotel also impresses with top service.
